Neo@Ogilvy is a full-service, digitally led media agency that is a fully integrated division of OgilvyOne Worldwide and part of the WPP group.  We have over 40 offices worldwide serving blue-chip clients in diverse industries. Founded in South Africa in 2009, the teams in Cape Town and Johannesburg have grown rapidly across Search, Analytics, Display, Social, 360 (Planning) and Email. Our blend of services provides our clients access to the leading practitioners of performance marketing, focused on targeting customers and optimising responses in real-time. Operating within the Ogilvy Group, we have a unique positioning – helping our clients fuse the insights of ‘creative’ and ‘media’ again, to ensure they get the best possible solutions for their business. Our work requires our people to create solutions that are not possible in isolated silos. We use data and analytics to generate insight for our clients, with an understanding of the advertising that no other network can match.

The team truly integrates both on- and offline media, so offers a rare opportunity to develop a real understanding of the client’s business. Team members develop cross platform thinking in a digital first agency, utilising new media research practices to determine offline implementation (such as CIM research, social media profiling and DSP audience insight).
Job Purpose

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to financially manage large accounts, including experience accurately forecasting budgets and keeping projects on schedule. Must have strong corporate experience – Must be a strategic thinker and a results-oriented leader who can develop and manage a strong team.  A BUD counsels at senior levels, analyses and solves problems, develops programs, oversees the development and delivery of high-quality work products, plays a significant business development role, develops people and manages budgets, billing and other financial performance requirements.
