ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Investigate, research and evaluate user requirements for cross browser and device channels (including app) and real-world digital interfaces to deliver outstanding user experiences that are intuitive and exhibit exceptional design craft.
Collaborate with Strategy, Creative and Development teams to ensure effective, efficient and intuitive roll-out.
Partner with Client Service teams, Creative, Clients, Partners and Strategy teams to understand and unpack the client and business problems and resolve with the end-user’s needs and desires.
Create functional UX wireframes and prototypes; and illustrate UI with storyboards and process-flows; to “sell-in” intuitive and provable interfaces.
Improve existing live UX/UI within the constraints of client CMS environments and our own bespoke-developed solutions.
Pro-actively improve your understanding and experience of existing and emerging usability, UX and UI best practice, tools and techniques, and contribute to growing your own and the agency’s digital capabilities.
Plan and implement best practices for UX in interface design, brand ecosystems and optimize user journeys for our client base.
Identify and troubleshoot UX issues (such as form completions, responsiveness etc), and comfortably provide and explain the rationale and designs to internal teams and clients.
Assist the Client Service and Strategy teams to seek opportunity to grow and service client UX requirements.
You will be champion of usability, UX and UI within the digital field, but also in real-world situations and non-digital campaigns.
You will add UX and UI expertise to our digital and integrated portfolio of clients, including sites, apps and digital campaigns (web, mobile, social, CRM, search, customer engagement, data- driven).
You will demonstrate expertise in online advertising, co-marketing/partnership programs and integrated campaigns.
Strong and effective business professional communication and client presentation skills; preferred previous experience in presenting to clients from an agency perspective.
Confidently partner with creative, technology, analytics and account management to ensure successful projects.
Understand and champion the allied disciplines of Creative, Development, Strategy, Data & Analytics and Digital Media.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND QUALITIES REQUIRED
A portfolio of UX work (UI work may be included), with clear explanation of what your role, deliverables and processes were in each case.
3 years+ experience with wire-framing and/or prototyping tools and software like Axure, Adobe XD, Sketch, Mockplus, Origami etc.
3 years+ experience with design tools like Illustrator, PhotoShop, Creative Studio etc.
Demonstrable experience in improving the UX/UI of interface elements like forms, menus, navigation elements, search elements, buttons, tabs, widgets and user-paths.
In-depth experience in as many of these areas as possible:
Lab-based UX and usability research with respondents.
Survey-based UX and usability research across web- and mobi-sites; apps; paid digital and social campaigns; and standalone.
Usability and user-interface design on CMS-based systems.
Experience with HTML5 / CSS is a plus.
Qualifications in usability and UX courses.
Experience in usability factors in human/digital interaction is a plus.
Good time-management skills and ability to task across clients and jobs is essential.
Strong passion for and knowledge of digital marketing, technology, social platforms, mobile marketing, emerging media and the internet as a whole. Specific consumer engagement strategy experience and data experience would be beneficial.
Proven ability to work under the pressures of an agency environment with fast-paced objectives and multiple client and internal asks.
Proven ability to work with a team, but also a self-starting and resourceful independent thinker able to meet agency and client deadlines – and with the ability and skills to earn client and internal team confidence quickly.
