Ogilvy has invested quite heavily in the development of its digital capability in both Johannesburg and Cape Town. Currently, these units have a staff compliment of 28 and are fully integrated into the agency. Ogilvy Interactive was the only non-digital specialist agency to win creative recognition at the Loeries in 2009 and has built a formidable creative reputation for integrated thinking. Campaigns like the ANC Election Campaign or ‘GoodbyeCiti’ for VW and ‘Young Gifted and Black’ for Channel O would not have been possible without integrating the social marketing expertise of Ogilvy Interactive.
